What should we expect when booking your services?

How much does it cost?

Once we have determined that Sister Act Weddings is available at the date and time you have chosen, a $100 retainer is required to confirm the booked date.  (email money transfer, cheque or cash.)  You will be connected with one of our officiants - either Kywin, Lisa or Bill. In the unlikely event that we are unable to perform the ceremony for unforeseen circumstances (ie. death, accident, injury, etc.), we will make every attempt to find a replacement.  If the replacement is not affiliated with Sister Act Weddings, you will receive a full refund. 


Book a face-to-face, phone or video consultation to discuss the type of ceremony you desire.  Traditional, contemporary, same-sex, religious and non-religious options are available.  We provide several vow options.  You are welcome to write your own vows.  We can also provide suggestions for poems, readings and other elements you may wish to add to the ceremony.  We want your customized ceremony to reflect your personality as a couple.


Along the way, we are available for questions.  As the wedding gets closer, choreography and details are reviewed so that you are comfortable with the flow of the ceremony.  Rehearsals can be easily arranged.  There is an additional $100 fee.


The balance is due 7 days prior to the wedding.  Cash is accepted on the day of the wedding if pre-arranged.


Services for weddings and vow renewals are $385.  Prices include unlimited consultations.   We want to ensure that your ceremony is exactly what you want.  


Stress-free elopements are also available with traditional and contemporary options to choose from.


Rehearsals (up to 1 hour) are an additional $100.  


$100 retainer is required to confirm the booking date.  Funds can be e-transferred to  Cash or cheque is also acccepted.  Upon booking, you are emailed verification of your date and time.   The balance is due 7 days  prior to your event.


What if I don’t pay the balance the day of the event?

If couples do not have the balance paid following the ceremony, there is a $50 non-payment fee added to the balance owing.


What if the event is outside of the Bay of Quinte region?

There is no travel charge if the ceremony is within 30 km of Belleville ($.60/km for extended round trip travel)

What if the wedding runs late?

If you set your wedding to begin at a certain time, we arrange to be available.   Depending on time, we may have scheduled other weddings that day.  If the wedding begins more than 45 minutes late that can have an impact on our schedule and the next couple's wedding.    There may be a late fee of $75 if the ceremony begins more than 45 minutes late.

What if we cancel?


The $100 retainer  is NON-REFUNDABLE.

If the ceremony has been paid in full, the amount paid less $100 non-refundable retainer will be refunded within 5 business days of receiving notification from either party of the cancellation.
